REVIEW BY: Gyozadude Reviewed Nov 15, 2007 Hard to find a sub-4lbs 12.1 LCD notebook anywhere in this price range let alone a dual-core. I'm impressed with the DVD burner, tight and bright 1280x800 wide display - pixels so sharp and clear I was able to reduce the system font by a size or two and still write code just fine and have more windows open on the same screen. Specs are slightly wrong - this laptop supports upto 2GB MAX; have it running right now with a Patriot 2GB DDR2-5300 sodimm. And Linux as well as Solaris Nevada install on this after shrinking the Vista partition using Vista's own built-in disk management tools, although you may have issues getting the Ralink RT73 Wifi chip to activate correctly with some distros. Compiles and software development are pretty fast with this dual core Pentium processor. This has an Intel ICH7-M chipset and supports HD Audio as well out of the box on both Linux and Solaris.
