It features an intuitive User Interface that guides drivers to any destination via voice and on-screen prompts. It incorporates SayWhere™ text-to-speech process that enables one to hear the name of the next turn, including specific audible and visual directions. Its advanced address entry process enables user to enter street name or direction and search for up to 4.5 Million POIs (Points of Interest), such as restaurants, hotels, airports, gas stations, and more. Additionally, it offers Bluetooth® hands-free calling. It is designed for the Business Mobile user who requires hands-free functionality with a thin/stylish industrial design and streamlined user interface.

The Bad: During our road tests, the Maestro 4040 was a little slow to recalculate routes. The Bluetooth pairing process was also a bit difficult,and you can't transfer contacts from your phone to the Maestro 4040.
The Bottom Line: Sporting a sleeker design and interface, the affordable Magellan Maestro series offers drivers an accurate in-car GPS device with useful trip information, thanks to its partnership with AAA.
