Zune to Zune Sharing Mama always said to share. Now you have an opportunity to do it with music and photos. With wireless Zune to Zune sharing you can send your favorite tracks and photos to friends.

Picture this: You're walking down the street. Or you're in a room with a bunch of friends. Or at a concert. Or at the airport. Or on the bus (you get the picture) and then you whip out your Zune and see all these other Zune devices around that you can choose from. Zap! You’re connected to your best friend and send the new song your band recorded in the garage last weekend. Another friend gets the hilarious podcast your kid brother made at school, plus that song you just downloaded from the Zune Marketplace and can’t get out of your head. And hey, lookee here, your friend wants to send you something that you might like and buy, too.

Best of all, the song you sent isn’t just a 30-second preview—it’s the whole song! Your friend can sample the song up to three times in three days, flag it on their device and then, if they like it, they can buy it later from Zune Marketplace. It's all connected.

You can send pictures, too. Loved the photo your girlfriend took at the park, and used as a background on her Zune? Just have her send it to you and set it as your background. Any pictures that are sent to you are yours to keep.

You can also fly under the radar when you want to as well. All you need to do is turn wireless on and off, or adjust the privacy settings to control whether people can see if you are online or to show your friends what you're listening to. And if you want to keep your Zune private while studying in the library or reading the newspaper at the coffee shop, you can also block Zune devices, in wireless range, from sending you a song. But don’t worry, you can always allow them back.

The party is just getting started.

you've got your Zune set up and you've built your library, but wait, you're craving something more. Oh yes, that's right. You want more music! No problem, Zune Marketplace is there for you.

Zune Marketplace is the online store for Zune. Browse and preview music, get the scoop on albums and artists, and download songs. You can get your music in two ways: a la carte downloads, or 'all you can eat' access with the Zune Pass subscription. With a Zune Pass, you can download as many songs as you like - listen to them on your computer or sync them to your Zune and take them with you. Everything you download is yours to play as much as you want while your subscription is current. Want to refill your Zune with completely new music? Go right ahead - with a Zune Pass, it's easy.

Whether you go for individual downloads or for a Zune Pass, downloading music is a snap.

REVIEW BY: USS Challe Reviewed May 12, 2007 Although Pat is just mad that her screen broke because she forgot to disconnect her battery, it is not Microsoft's fault. Anyway - I have had my Zune for about six months now. I contacted Microsoft and asked them to send me some instructions on how to upgrade the hard drive. I searched the market looking for a hard drive. I found a 350GB with the exact same size and pin connector as the original drive. Now my Zune has 350GB of music space. WTG MICROSOFT! HOOAH!

REVIEW BY: Pat Reviewed Mar 07, 2007 I got my zune, and had it for about 2 months. There's nothing too special about it other than wi-fi. The radio is pretty nice, and the slightly bigger screen also. The battery doesn't hold out for too long in the first place. Secondly, I left mine to charge over night and the battery got extremely hot, and messed up the lcd screen. Micro$oft refuses to cover it under warranty so I'm out 250$ thanks Micro$oft :).

REVIEW BY: Mike Reviewed Jan 18, 2007 Let me start by saying that tigerdirect is amazing at shipping, did standard and got the package in 2 days. My brother owns an iPod video, and i personally like this much better, sure its slightly larger but the screen is also a half inch bigger, and you can even upgrade the hard drive. If your lookin for a media player for videos and music, and even pictures then this is the way to go. Customizable background, easy software to transfer music, im glad i chose this instead of any other device.

REVIEW BY: cKy Guy Reviewed Dec 30, 2006 Ive had the zune in black for about 3 months and i love it.its a great alternative to the over rated ipod. The 30gb is more than enough and the software provided is great if your like me and already have close to 500+ songs it puts those 500 songs into the zune in about 3 minutes.I just have one complaint and its battery life. its about 4-5 hours if your JUST listening to music and about 2 hours of video. But all in all its great and the screen is huge great for movies (unlike the ipod) the good out ways the bad.it esspecialy does well in the customer support area.Microsoft is a trillion dollar company and has the time and moeny to help you with any problem.this is definitly a buy.

REVIEW BY: crash810 Reviewed Dec 27, 2006 the best mp3/mp4 player i ever bought it makes thing so easy to use in its software and the device itself is great it so easy to personalize it and you dont need to have a video convertor for 90% of the videos and its so easy to add album covers if you put your cds on thier instead of the buying songs you just drag the pics from google pic or any other search engine
