I bought one in February and it has already had not one, but TWO hardware malfunctions. And what is more important to know is that Samsung is giving me the runaround this time and, basically, refusing to honor the warranty. I'll spare you all the gory details but suffice to say that Samsung has the absolute WORST ''customer service'' you will ever encounter, and that alone is enough reason to NOT purchase this, or any other, of their products. It's looking like I'm going to have to file a lawsuit in small claims court just to get them to honor their warranty and/or replace the friggin thing. Do you really want to go through that as well? Didn't think so. Do yourself a favor and avoid this one like the plague it is. There are many competitor printers that are similarly priced and those manufacturers actually HONOR the warranty-buy one of those instead. I chose in part due to the ink refills being moderately priced compared to HP and others. Color prints come out best on photo paper. Scanning feature could use some tweating by Samsung. Does great work as a fax and copier. PictBridge feature is handy for printing directly from the camera without going thru the PC.
